Line of duty - poor ending indeed

Some shockingly bad acting in places.
The comedy female prison guards 😈 👮
Chloe's long, long bits of exposition.
Ted being ..... very Ted.
The scene where the three main characters go down in the lift. Double cheese.

That said, I watched it all.

My favourite show but I was disappointed with the ending .
Difficult to see how they will chase Osbourne in the next series. He has his cronies in powerful positions and none of the main 3 might be in the AC division.

Brilliant series. Just a bit of a disappointing final 'reveal'. Although it someone who wasn't even mentioned in fan theories. So they nailed that.

I guess in some ways it makes sense. He's been in and around things since the beginning. That said reading online people think he's been 'H' since the begining but he kind of stumbled into it when Hilton was bumped off at the end of season 4. He was only running things from the laptop in series 5.

Despite the ending I think the main 3 actors who played Steve / Kate and Ted have been superb. Also some great star billed cameos in Keeley Hawes / Thandiwe Newton and Stephen Graham etc.

I rewatched them all prior to this series. I have to say series 2-3 were the best. I thought 3 was the best with the story about about Sands view and the great Dot 'urgent extraction' at the end.

I don't think they need another series. Its a shame it didn't end on an absolute high but things seldom do. It's still the best thing the BBC have done👏

I've read such dramatic statements on twitter as 'worst than Game of thrones series 8' or '10 years of my life wasted' etc. It's really not. It's 10 years of great TV and game of thrones went sh*te from about season 6.

Sweeping things into a corner, not even under the carpet, is typical of how things would really happen, isn't it? Last night reminded me of something which Lakewell said years ago about Occam's razor: all the Morse code stuff, master puppeteer, but ultimately someone in the right place at the right time to just be a switchboard between bad guys.

If there is another series, I suspect that Carmichael is indeed straight and has had her eyes opened to what she previously thought was a fairy tale: whether she takes on the hydra which keeps growing new heads is up to her.

I like how things aren't all wrapped up: the production order, who was actually overseeing the promotions, etc.

Firstly, Buckells is not H. Thurlwell is not dead imho. He was definately hiding behind a mask in the Spanish Police raid alive and well. AC-12 will need to be saved. Hastings has his appeal to enforced retirement still to be heard remember. DCS Carmichael, bent or carrying the fire? Chief Superintendent Osbourne is bent and yet to be nailed and is linked to Thurwell through past cases. DCC Wise bent or not? Steve and Steph......... unfinished business, is she involved in criminality or will Steve and Kate really remain just ‘mates’? Why did Kate go to the Police Welfare Support Officer?......... to save Steve? Will the OCG’s find Davidson?

Jesus, Mary, Joseph and the Wee Donkey, there is much more to come in Line Of Duty - Series 7 is already in writing me thinks 😎

Exclusive. @coluka is definitely H!

PS
H would definately be home and dry if he had a text checker.

It's definitely been left wide open for another couple of series. Line of Duty does show the BBC is relevant and capable of producing great television.

I get really good value for me licence fee - radio, website and iPlayer.
