Local elections TODAY

Just had a look at the results where I live and was surprised to see a guy who I used to manage was standing in a nearby ward. He came second which is a blessing as he was a lazy get.
 
Ingleby Barwick attitude towards politics is absolutely depressing. They will help return a Tory for Stockton South next time again because they can’t or won’t see what is in front of their own eyes - far too many I’m alright jacks and white haired gammons. Imagine electing this bloke as a Ward Councillor - Wow

That is what they used to get votes off the Lib Dem’s and win the 2015 election, must be looking to re release all the old hits…

Saltburn voters don't vote for Labour neither - their councillors are all independent so the above logic says they avoid been "shafted" by all the major parties?
 
Word is Labour guy won, Libdem came 2nd and Mrs Turner 3rd 5 votes behind, a recount was offered and accepted, after recount Mrs Turner was 2 votes ahead, so a 3rd count was asked for and agreed, this will take place on Tuesday. It's not stone, but it's what I have been told.

That is exactly it, if she wins on a third count I cannot imagine it would blow by without a stink.

ive seen 'agents' of the candidate argue that a pencil mark (a tick / straight line / squiggle / circle etc) anywhere on the top half of the paper is an indication for that candidate (if its their candidate) and seek a discard if its not. and similarly if its towards the bottom of the paper - its location and proximity to a candidates name can be argued over with much gusto .

I see the Loser has finally got around to posting an update. Nothing at all about the people he’s apparently ‘served’. All about himself, enjoying a holiday. Clear message that people in Middlesbrough never really mattered to him.
