How could you possibly know he lied? And verify it?

Because he said he only heard about the campaign yesterday. Yet a press release said he was briefed about it on Tuesday.

hence why it was an easily verifiable lie. Makes you wonder, if he can lie so blatantly when it’s easy to check, how many other times is he lying to us? Only last week he lied to the house about calling Kier

The usual methodology is to find examples of when a person has said something and then they say something that contradicts what they have previously said, usual Prime Minister protocol would have made him aware of the removal of free school meals during holidays sometime last week in a Ministerial department briefing, he said yesterday it was the first he knew about it, so if he isn’t lying about that he is then lying about taking full control of the Covid situation last week, so you can take your pick of which one is a lie but at least one of them is.

The government was going to let children starve over the summer and Boris Johnson lied about when he heard about the campaign.

That’s not a tinfoil hat situation. That’s an infuriating approach to take.

let’s just be clear: the prime minister has just lied on TV. Not some sort of conspiracy saying he might be lying: a blatant, verifiable and pointless lie.
