Marcus Rashford

Dont know why he didnt start a new thread entirely, that I could understand, but this thread has gone from, what a fantastic acheivement, but...........:(
Don’t worry Erimus, all the praise of Rashford is still there. The reason I didn’t start a new thread is that it would have seems incongruous. I was responding to a direct comment on this thread. As I said, like in the real world, conversations evolve. This thread has had a lot of replies so it was bound to evolve

You won’t have as I’m sure you are aware this is my first post on the thread. I support free school meals during the holidays anyways. So would happily congratulate Rashford on his campaign.

Unfortunately by the time I read it yesterday, the thread had already been hijacked by the usual group of self righteous posters who decided to turn it into an opportunity to deride anyone who dare use there democratic right and vote conservative and then even turn into a brexit bashing too. Therefore I couldn’t even be bothered posting.

Couldn't even be bothered posting so you trawled the internet for a negative news story about free school meals and hey presto you found one in The Express of all places back on May 13th (yes, 5 weeks ago).

It takes a certain type of person to consciously search for negatives and boy you are one.

And boy you are wrong....... again

I actually seen it posted by the Daily Mirror on my Facebook feed. I then google the story to see if I could find the Daily Mirror story (to stop you crying about which paper ran it) it was in various ones the Mirror didn’t show so I just used that one.

The amount of negative stories you and others post and then cream yourselves over on a daily basis must mean you an angry, bitter and negative person.

I would have thought someone in their 50s might have grown up abit but I was wrong with that one. I wouldn’t want to stop your daily outbursts though, your stress levels may implode if you don’t so as you were.... Mr Negative 😤

confirms the brexit mindset , brexit over everything, child poverty, more austerity, cuts to police, education, nhs, all worth it in the name of brexit.

What's Brexit got to do with this thread? For goodness sake, it's a done deal like it or not, let it go.

Voting has consequences. Seen and unforeseen. And?

Not that I thought it needed clarifying, but...

It was in response to the lad getting all upset about people criticising who his wife voted for. She voted for the child starving party while not being all that into starving children. I was pointing that voting for the child starving party may have consequences, like starving children.

You've somehow galaxy brained this to be about voter apathy.

This isn’t bending the truth. I think you want to open your eyes. These are blatant, easily verifiable lies. That are affecting the well-being of the citizens of this country.
What is wrong with people who wish to defend someone who is actively humiliating them and risking their health?

Voter apathy has major consequences at times as evidenced on the previous Tory minority government.

What is "Galaxy brained" I've not heard that one before.

I am well aware that this was not just bending the truth, did you miss the bit where I also said that they lie. Stop nit picking and get a life. My eyes are wide open.

So let's get this straight.

Your 1st contribution to this thread was a negative one about free school meals yet you ended your last post by calling me Mr Negative? - er ok

You claim that a negative Daily Mirror story about free school meals from 5 weeks ago turned up on your Facebook feed today but when you tried to find it on the internet it wasn't there anymore. However there was one from The Daily Express so you thought sod it, my 1st contribution to this thread won't be a positive one about Marcus Rashford it'll be a negative one?

You mention my age which I'm not sure has anything to do with the subject matter but how do you know how old I am, have you been stalking me?

Still using the word 'cream' would suggest that you are not grown up in the slightest.

I can only think that you must be bored. Presumably your works computer hasn't turned up yet and you're just laying around in your joggies on full pay

Your eyes are open?

So you're happy your prime minister is now, almost constantly lying? On matter that affect the health of children, benefits to people struggling with work and recovery from a pandemic? How can you be happy you are being lied to about such fundamental things that affect your health?
