Massive week ahead

We need the following as soon as possible, probably take this and the January window to get them mind.

RB
CB
CM x 2
Forward

Seen as we have had all summer to sort this out I very much doubt that it will be sorted this week or the next window.

I cant be arsed to investigate, but if we were to look at every other Championship club message boards, how many of them will be having the same discussion? I suspect the majority. One or two teams have noticeably had a good window but I suspect most fans will be twitchy as the window closes.

That is not to say that I disagree that we are some way from where I would like us to be right now

Already im thinking consolidation season from the vibes/rumours amd facts i see on the pitch. Other teams are better equipped for sucess than us. I wont cry if takes another season for the squad to evolve and strenghthenfor the better next season. Its obvious we havent got the money for the better players we want all at once, so itll take time

The amount of new players already bought and hopefully a few more in this week. It will take time for these to gel and form partnership's or f which we do have time.

I think we will look further a field but the below could be some loans to look at!

RB - Ben Godfrey, Clyne, Bogle, Johnson
CB - Nat Phillips, Tomkins, Mepham, Van hecke
CM - Mowatt, Lewis O Brien, Lewis Cook, Elliott Anderson
CAM - Tom Cairney, Bacjetic, Palmer, Hanibal, Chair, Willock
Forward - Keiffer Moore, Kenian Davies.

I also think Paddy (Sheff U), Payero(Argentina), Coburn(Plymouth) will go and maybe Dijksteel(Huddersfield) and Crooks or Mcgree

Not sure your point. Are you talking about the teams play better football than us and have better prospects or are you saying they would rather live in carrots and tractor land and enjoy a rural lifestyle that Teesside can't offer them? Which players are you talking about by the way?
All things being equal I think the league table could be a deciding factor for a footballer

The club website shows 25 players in the senior squad. I know that maybe includes some U21's in Coburn, VDB, Rogers, Gilbert, Hackney????? so official squad will be smaller.
If the 5 or 6 you quote do leave then it is going to be perhaps the busiest deadline week on record.
I can't see it.

Boro?

3 critical signings in 4 days, last week In the transfer window?

Never been known has it.........?😳

The reality is Morgan Rogers is our number 10. It may take a while for him to gain the experience to be as good as we need him to be but he will only get there by playing.

Personally i think the top of the pitch is ok them lads will score goals and they will all improve by playing.

The obvious weakness is RB - Tommy Smith is a good solid pro but he should not be first choice we need a RB who is athletic and can recover as we play so attacking. TS just cant get back

CB - We need a proper aggressive ball winning CB to partner Lenihan - Dael is going backwards i honestly think he needs a change of scenery to kick on.

MF I love Jonny but we need help in there Hackney is trying to do too much. Is Brownhill actually available? Can we scout a young George B? a young Leadboots? Onyeka too hopefull

Then go and get Ross Stewart from Sunderland. That will give us a proper alternative to LL and not crooks.

Surely pur vast scouting teams and KS can find someone to fill these positions.

Also sell McNair, Give away Payero to a spanish team and get a big sell on clause in the deal if possible.

Id also stick a cheeky bid in for Willock from QPR if you can get him back to his best he will be a star for us. Contract coming to an end we should be all over it

100% agree with all of this

Reading the Burnley messageboard. Their fans in meltdown and they've only played 2 games against top 10 reams and have spent £77million. Its all par for the course if a club has a losing streak.
