Perhaps the reason Leo is in as one of the favourites might be:

Well, given the way the fixtures are rolling, Leo would reach that by the world cup break.

Good spot. He's probably worth a bet then.
Wonder if the reason for such conflicting reports about Carrick is because the real sequence of events was, interviewed but ruled himself out because of restrictions placed on role by club, Gibson however fancied him for role so invited him for dinner to sit down and discuss things he wasn't happy with and they have managed to work out a compromise so Carrick is back in the frame again.

As this thread shows he was my no 1 choice from day 1 and what we have seen is exactly why I was so delighted to get him. Not just for his results or the style but the way he work with players.
