Millwall Match Pack!
Boro look to banish the away day blues tomorrow when we take on Millwall. Here's all the key pre-match travel and pub information you need to know ahead of Saturday's trip to The Den. Kick-off is at 3:00pm.Travel
The best way to get to The Den is via a short train ride from London Bridge station to South Bermondsey station. The service is ran by Southern and should take around 5 minutes.
The Den is around 10 minutes walk from South Bermondsey - there is a direct walkway specifically built for away fans which takes you directly to the away end and back to the station afterwards.
Getting to London Bridge isn't as easy as it used to be given the Bank Branch of the Northern Line is closed for the foreseeable. If you're coming from the north into Kings Cross then you can still catch a direct Thameslink train from St Pancras to London Bridge which should take around 15-20 mins. Make sure you catch the right train or you could be stuck on one which takes 40 minutes.
If you're already in London then make sure you get yourself onto the Jubilee Line as that's still stopping at London Bridge. If you're coming into Kings Cross and adamant you want to use the tube then get the southbound Victoria line to Green Park and then change onto the eastbound Jubilee line to London Bridge.
Pubs
There are no recommended away pubs around the ground. If you want to get a pre match pint then we recommend drinking around London Bridge where there are plenty of pub options for away fans.
Some of our usual favourites when we go to Millwall away are Bunch of Grapes (SE1 9RS), The Old Kings Head (SE1 1NA), The George (SE1 1NH), and The Barrowboy and Banker (SE1 9QQ). All of the pubs are within a 5-10 minute walk of London Bridge station.
Please note The Barrowboy and Banker can be funny about football shirts so if you're planning on going there you're best off not wearing any colours.
