Planned riot in Middlesborough last weekend.

Clearly local people promoting this - can’t even spell ‘Middlesborough’ and a call to arms from Irish passport owning Tenerife resident Laxley!
Any sane person going along to this are either very naive or completely oblivious to what is happening in front of their eyes. Ashamed members of my own family will almost certainly join this - hopefully in the first category but absolutely no doubt it will end in violence and attacks on non white people and their premises.
Thank God decent people are hitting back with donations and offers of physical help to those affected by these racist thugs.

There will be probably people attending who can't spell.

Edit - I see Geoff...er...Cooper761 from RR has pulled me up on my poor grammar in the above sentence. Sad lad.

Why publicise it, the poster? It's just enough to say there will be a counter demonstration, don't give the other side oxygen( attention).

Meeting at the cenotaph - symbolism.
Any details published yet regarding the route of the 'march'?
Nearest mosque within easy walking distance.
Sadly, I think we all know how this goes 😔

Isn't there a mosque just yards away from the Cenotaph?

Its quite an emotive location - with hundreds of names of the WW1 dead on the walls of the park and the war memorial plus the Stan Hollis statue, even the Dorman Museum was built in memory of a lost son of a local industrialist, from the Boer War.

I would hope that people on Teesside never go down the fascist/racist route with supporting EDL. In the past BNP and NF got little support on Teesside. The same for Blackshirts in the 1930s despite all the poverty and deprivation in the area.
