To be fair it is massively woke and left wing

It’s amazing really , the views reflected on this board don’t match up to what I hear from the average Teessider. The internet skews people’s perceptions quite a lot

It's a common complaint from very right wing Boro fans who've left the board over the years.

The irony being that they're often the ones complaining about and bringing up politics.

This is a good board, hence why I've been a member in various guises for nearly 16 years, however I feel it is very left wing and certain posters do seem to hound out those with even the slightest of right wing persuasion. That is probably it's only downfall.

I am not particularly Woke nor a Marxist, just like some equality of opportunity and fairness in the World. I had a soft spot of Corbyn, because it was not a normal politician and did seem to a politician without an enormous ego who I felt would stand up for people on low incomes, opposed to Tuscany Tony or Notting Hill (Plain) Dave or get that poor/racist Rochdale pensioner out of here Gordon.

Politics tend to be on the board when there is no football, but there are other topics besides politics - EVs is the obvious one, but also health issues, local history, stuff from the 1960s and 70s etc, military stuff from Ukraine. There are 100s of posts every day, amazing really from 100 or so regulars.
