Protest at the snooker

I had this conversation with Nobby a while back. Nothing to do with oil, but snooker is a racist sport, if you can even call it a sport. The white ball flies around the table beating up all of the other different coloured balls and it leaves the black ball until last, because it REALLY hates the black ball. That just seems wrong to me.

What do you propose they do instead? Because going the traditional routes clearly hasn't worked and if they feel they need to take more drastic action for solutions to be found then fair play to them.

It's how **** gets done, it always has been.
Protest towards the people who can make a difference. People missing work because these idiots have glued themselves to the road, or people missing out on events they have worked to pay for can’t make any difference at all

These protestors all seem to be from very privileged backgrounds and have zero concept of just how hard people have to work. Making life more difficult for the average person changes nothing

I note that you didn't mention what races, genders and environmental-persuasions the other balls represent......

I hope everyone who had had their night ruined by these scumbags take them to court for loss of entertainment and get a partial refund from them. No doubt though they won’t be working so have no funds for compensation
Everyone there gets to see the better match now. Allen v Fan.

Should have started with red powder. Then black powder. Then red. Then black. Repeat a few times.

Then yellow, green, brown, blue, pink and a final black.

147 of disruption. They need to think smarter.

Using orange powder instead of wet paint as to not destroy a table and the surrounding areas. You can’t argue with that. It’s effective, carefully considered and entirely peaceful protest. Long may they continue.
It is not a peaceful protest though, they have scattered powder over a table that will need to be stripped, cleaned and recovered. They have spoilt the entertainment of people who will have travelled and more than likely will be staying in hotels.

Too many trivialising these protests.

Whatever their cause is, this doesn't help, it really doesn't.
Well what would help their cause then? You always get this. They’ve done shops, bridges, roads, transport, businesses, corporations, motorways… sports events, matches, media campaigns… and apparently none of it helps ‘their’ cause.

It ALL helps their cause because it’s a sustained campaign of peaceful protest. They will keep doing it until those with the power to do something grow some b*llocks and initiate change.

It is entirely peaceful. They caused some hoovering and a few blokes will play some snooker a bit later than planned.

Those with power couldn’t care less if it doesn’t impact them.

The only thing they have achieved is they have given the government the ammunition they need as well as increased public support to make disruptive protests illegal thus restricting our rights to protest

This type of thing plays into the governments hands perfectly

Okay so just do nothing then because EVERY protest can be labelled as disruptive and divisive. The point is that the government do not need an excuse to attempt to criminalise protests and/or industrial action, they’ve been doing that for decades and decades and decades and will keep doing it. You have to stand up to these f*ckers and stand up for what you think is right.

You can’t just keep sitting back and waiting for other people to do something. There isn’t time.

Ray Winston was going to sort it out but his lace was double knotted and he couldn’t get his sock off quick enough

Yes but banning these specific protests have got huge numbers of the public on the governments side, and expect it to be a huge part of their election campaign to push it even further
