Qatar Grand Prix

It be interesting to see what the do. They are conflicting panels for max yellow right, green left. There is a guys waving flags too. Apparently in conflicting info there is no penalty

I bet that doesn’t happen. I just don’t trust the FIA at the moment they seem to be persecuting Mercedes at the moment
I get that feeling, but I think the whole FIA/Liberty Media / stakeholders want a rivalry and world championship climax race 'to be world champion' affair to increase viewers / interest after years of being told it is a snoozefest. So they're engineering rulings and being a bit more hands off.

Vettel seems convinced that the yellows were pulled early to allow Max to finish his lap (after he'd backed out of his), and he isn't one to court controversy in the media.

It will be very interesting to see stewards interpretations if anyone is run off track on the outside. I think one of the expected stewards has dropped out, so one who was in Brazil has been drafted in.

It's ridiculous that this is taking so long to get to a decision, Sky Sports pushing the mitigation that there was a confusing green light, it was the pit lane weigh bridge light. If Verstappen was confused by this then he shouldn't be driving a F1 car.

Remember when Lewis ignored the pit lane red light at Monza. That was also confusing as he came up on it so quickly and it was on the outside of of track but he got a penalty immediately

Like Stroll then? You could also say that Verstappen, Sainz and Schumacher are all in F1 due to their father's influence too.

In reality they've all earned enough points for a super licence so they all deserve it to some extent.

Besides if you're going to stop people driving because they started by bringing money in to the sport you're basically going to have Esteban Ocon racing on his own. Which would be boring.

I just think he's had a tough time lately. (Mazepin that is)
The rest of those actually bring something to the sport, Mazepin is consistently miles off his team mate and doesn’t really look like improving. He wasn’t even that good in f2 and showed himself to be very dangerous on numerous occasions too. He will cause a huge accident if he ever gets a car that’s competitive

His behaviour off the track should have stopped him from being involved with f1 anyway, really hard to feel sorry for him

How can this be taking so long. The rules really couldn’t be much clearer
I think they want to issue them all the same penalty but obviosuly max had ignored double yellow while the other 2 were single

was Hamilton double or single in Austria
