As per the title, rate in anyway you want. List is below (not including those who only played a handful of games).

For me, my favourite 5 would be McDonald, Kike, Bamford, Tomlin and Stuani.
 
That's a depressing list when you look at it like that. All of the good ones came in a 2 year period so that's 8 years of rubbish strikers. It's even worse when you go backwards from there and get Kris Boyd & Chris Killen etc?

I'm sure you can include Tomlin as a striker, although he's one of the better players on the list

Anyone else wonder what might have been if we’d actually played Stuani as a centre forward instead of creating some inside right/wing position for him?

Bloke has scored a hatful of goals in his career and looked like a textbook number 9. So we played him out wide….

We did get promoted in fairness, and i'm not sure he had the pace for the premier league (same reason Negredo struggled). Having said that either could've done ok with better creativity around them. It's a little misleading to say Stuani played out wide though, he took up that position off the ball but when we were in possession he was arrivng in the box.

Stuani hampered our attacking. He played out wide but his only use was as a 2nd striker so he might as well have been playing up there. I think we would have been better off having him as an option as a striker and spending the money we spent on Rhodes on a better option out wide. We did get promoted so it's hard to criticise, it obviously worked well enough in the championship. It was dreadful in the PL though. We created nothing.

Stuani didn't pick the side. Karanka hampered our attack playing a striker as a wide right player.
