7.5 for me but I've got 3/4 of a pint of Estrella in front of me so I've gone for an 8.Iāve gone 7 prob may be an 8 but still alot of of unknown quantities that weāll only really know if theyāve worked in the coming weeks.
I still think we were a little short on what we fully wanted esp up front but overall we canāt complain.
Very true. But as they should say: ' Proof of the pudding is in the eating'. (Sorry to be an 4rse)As they say in football - proofs in the pudding
Yep exciting to have a new bunch of young players. Need to get some results though and climb the table in Sept/Oct so their heads don't drop. If this happens and I really hope it doesn't then this will be a big test of Carrick to keep the young lads positive.7 right now, will rise as the players develop.
Perhaps Ross Stewart was open to signing a new deal, but the offer was too good to turn down.Still think the Chuba fee was far too cheap, for a Championship player of the year with almost 30 goals last season. Ross Stewart has ended up going for a similar fee. He also had one year left on his contract and he's had 2 serious injuries recently and not played for months!
According to SSN Stewart had refused to sign a new contract. I think one difference between his sale and Chubas is Sunderland sold to a rival. So the rival will always have to pay a premium for a player. Where as we sold to Ajax who are in a different league to us in more ways than one.Perhaps Ross Stewart was open to signing a new deal, but the offer was too good to turn down.
I suspect we took what we could because the alternative was get nowt in 12 months time.
