Red Faction - walking out on 30th minute

The walk out on 30min but return for second half is a WAY BETTER IDEA!

That would actually be supported around the ground and have a noticeable, visual impact.

No matter how people feel about the prices enough simply won’t leave a game, and just the RF, plus a few scattered ransoms, will just look like what it is….the RF doing their thing in isolation.

Surely the message to get across is EVERYBODY is unhappy with prices, and a short sharp 15min emptying of seats around the ground achieves this WAY more than just the RF doing it for an hour of game.

@RF…..why not propose your ideas on places like here first and get some wider feedback?!! Crazy that as a fan group you don’t actually tout ideas and settle on something that works for everybody and gets ALL fans onside which ultimately helps achieve your goals more.
There was quite literally an open invite for people to go speak with the group this week gone..

A same price for everyone, new or old on ST
Free pint / drink for existing ST

Give the real bonus for loyalty in priority points , not profiteering from the new

So come the big occasions away from home. They get that guarantee..

No parent and two kids ( under 15 ) should be paying more than £65 as a walk up.
They have to literally walk past guaranteed entertainment at the cinema to get there .
Makes sense and good option that should be a discussion point at a supporters forum to put to the club.

Personally in my above £406 £17 per game with a walk up of £20 an adult should be something the club should work towards also offer half season tickets from the beginning of the season aswell as the mid point might help people.

And if the ground isn't full, offer match day Incentives, raffle tickets off, give local communities and clubs tickets get the place full each and every home game!

Like I said I am fully behind questioning the club but the first thing should be to raise it to the club through the correct channels supporters clubs etc after a general consensus is reached then take action by staging a walk out, the players don't set the prices and it will only affect them in the middle of a game and they are not at fault again only my opinion

You have to sell over a number of years to build up a ffp allowance to invest heavily enough for promotion. That’s just how the system works.

Tav and Akpom had 1 year left, crooks had a great opportunity, Payero was rubbish and tigers got tapped up.

There are no blinkers, the prices are high, but it isn’t done with intent to “fleece” anyone, it isn’t done for his own personal profit. It’s done for the good of the club
Why are our tickets higher than almost every other club in the league?

And it’s not much good if you price the majority of fans out of the game and end up playing in front of 15k empty seats every week

It's not done to fleece anyone but it is done to cover the costs of perpetual mismanagement. It's classic Tory behaviour to just pass your costs on to someone else. The excessive costs aren't the fault of the fans, they are the fault of Gibson. He should carry the can for any required over spending. He's said before it isn't his club, he's just the steward and that is correct. It is our club, not his, and he shouldn't be making it unaffordable for us because of the risks he's taken, the bad decisions he's made or his inability to plan.

Every point is valid, I just think there needs to be a meeting with the club through the correct channels if it hasn't already taken place, stating the issue and two general resolutions agreed by a majority vote (fans) for the club to review, if after this meeting nothing changes then stage a protest, walkout, whatever to make a statement but to just start with a walkout is not really good negotiation tactics in my opinion and as above will only affect our team on the pitch, who are not to blame.

People will mostly have to pay an extra £1.30 a game, it’s hardly daylight robbery.

Our attendances continue to improve regardless of the price, people keep paying.

I guess the key point here is that we don’t have an owner profiting from the fans, he’s still putting 1m per month into the club to stop it folding.

People say there would be no club without fans, but there would be no club without gibbo, or it would be scrapping around league two and most of those complaining and walking out wouldn’t be interested.

Yes, everyone would like it to be cheaper, but he isn’t trying to fleece you all and if he’s putting money in without hesitation and has just written 80m off (or however much it is) then why shouldn’t you push the boat out too?
Mart it isn't about the net amount 80 million or 30 quid. It's about affordability.

A club, in an ideal world, should be available to everyone who lives in that town and surrounding areas.

The club have refused to meet with fans through the proper channels, in this case RF. This is despite them committing to do so.

The price rise is small - I can’t think of many things that don’t go up in price every year. It’s about the equivalent of an extra 57p a week. I’m not sure what fans expect the club to do to cover costs 🤷🏼‍♂️ - sell our best players and replace with worse one perhaps ? All so you have that extra 57p a week to splash around ?
Why try to make it out as though it's not a big rise, 'only 57p a week '.It doesn't work out at That. It's the fact that it's £30 rise for 23 games, and little time to pay it.

See the attendance Saturday , it will be down , not because its Plymouth, its because people are getting sick of bad decisions by people who are making them .
For the 1st time in 50 year of following the club , I am seriously considering not renewing .
I will always be a Boro fan , but the lack of ambition and price rises is turning me away .

This is the point. Other clubs in our position don't charge as much, don't need £12m a year from their owner and do just as well as us. So everyone including Gibson is overpaying.

The more I read and the more I think about the more I am inclined to join them in walking out.

I want as many people as possible to be able to watch the Boro. And that's without them having to sacrifice other more important stuff.
