Bit like WilderI’m pleased we didn’t go for him. Obviously because we appointed Wor Mickey instead, but there is something I don’t like about him. He will use them as a stepping stone like he did Forest Green.
Is leaving Forest Green for a Championship club not something any manager would do?I’m pleased we didn’t go for him. Obviously because we appointed Wor Mickey instead, but there is something I don’t like about him. He will use them as a stepping stone like he did Forest Green.

I always find a new manager bounce comes after game 1, normally game 2 or 3 and especially if the new manager’s team are playing someone in decent form, which boro are(!)Let’s hope they don’t get “the new manager bounce”. His first game? Against us.
Possibly or given the time he has to work with them get that bounce in game 1.I always find a new manager bounce comes after game 1, normally game 2 or 3 and especially if the new manager’s team are playing someone in decent form, which boro are(!)
The only peculiar aspect to this is the amount of time he’s spent with his new players and how that will affect them
Who knows….could take the edge off the new manager bounce possibly ?
Or possibly the bounce isn’t there because of the time spent together means that ‘bounce’ so to speak has worn off with timePossibly or given the time he has to work with them get that bounce in game 1.
Who knows indeed. I only said I hope - I didn’t expect the Spanish Inquisition.Or possibly the bounce isn’t there because of the time spent together means that ‘bounce’ so to speak has worn off with time
