I'm not sure if he was a Sunderland fan but he regularly stood on the Holgate cheering the Boro on when he was injured or Liverpool didn't have a game.Sunderland fan, wasn't he?
He’s a good championship player, he wouldn’t cut it in the premier leagueSeriously?
He’s a creative, pacy, modern full back just like the game needs at the highest level. Yes he has areas to work on, but I’d rather have a player who can learn about tactics and awareness rather than someone who needs to learn about ball control and passing.
probably true. He’s a good championship player, he wouldn’t cut it in the premier league
yes seriously,he is a poor defender, take away his crossing and you have a very average defender,Seriously?

Hard to please you lad. He’s been outstanding all season long, he has his flaws but make no mistake he’s played a massive part of how well we have done and that left foot is something very special. Would be a brilliant permanent signing and thankfully most fans can see thatyes seriously,he is a poor defender, take away his crossing and you have a very average defender,
as a defender its n ot unreasonable to expect him to be a good defender tooHis whole game is about his assists, they're not masking anything at all
not saying hes a bad player,,im just saying his assists are about as good as you will get,but im not so sure hes good at defending and as a defender thats a mustHard to please you lad. He’s not that’s probably clear, but he has improved over the piece. It’s a lot easier to be coached how to defend in a shape and to get tighter to wingers to stop them crosses and to tell Giles to clear his lines rather rather than take a touch, these things are things that can be worked on and he will improve on. What you can’t coach is a wand of a left foot with possible the best cross I have seen at the Boro which is a natural talent that he has, it’s literally a weapon.not saying hes a bad player,,im just saying his assists are about as good as you will get,but im not so sure hes good at defending and as a defender thats a must
dont quite get the love in for him tbh.hes a decent left back thats it,his assists masks his deficiencies in defence,as said hes ok,wont be bothered either way if we sign him or not
