Scott Twine

I've seen Twine play a few times this season, client of mine has a box at MK Dons, so take advantage of free hospitality from time to time. He's been outsanding every time I've seen him, head & shoulders above every other player on the pitch. They value him at £5mil, which I think is a bit high, might get him for £3m + add ons. One concern is he looks a bit lightweight at times, but gets plenty of rough stuff and doesn't seem to bother him. At £3m worth a punt in my opinion

agreed, which is why he needs to play as a 10 off a big lad, someone like Gyokeres
Probably right, but that defined '10' role is not really around anymore, teams moving away from a 4-2-3-1. He's played often this season as 'false 9' dropping deep in to midfield. I'm not sure how he would fit in Wilders 3-5-2 as he likes mobile hardworking strikers, and from snippets you pick up, Wilder wants horses for courses recruited. Not sure how Twine would fit

instead of a flat 2 up top, he gets to drop into the hole try and get the ball on the turn. makes it much harder for the opposing CBs to decide to stick or go and mark him. Would work well. There's not a lot difference between a false 9 and a 10

I think that’s pretty much sporar’s role when he plays. Or at least it looks like that’s what he’s supposed to be doing

I'd really like us to get him, at £3 million it isn't much of a gamble. If he flops I'm sure we'd get most of it back from a League 1 club looking for promotion next season.

Wilder's new McGoldrick?

Ok then I'm all for it 🤣
As I said above looks really low risk with those numbers. If he doesn't make the grade we can sell him to Sunderland for their League 1 campaign this time next year.

20 goals, 13 assists and a set piece specialist.

Got to be worth a punt.

Him and Riis would cost less than Gyokeres I'm sure.

Gayle, Watmore and Coburn on the bench.

Absolute doddle this signings business!
