There won't be much of an increase on that if we're playing well either, because I fully expect the walk-up prices to be ridiculous.

Doesn't tally with the argument MFC have to increase the SC cost to cover additional costs incurred by the club ..........because they have potentially lost £1000`s from those who haven't renewed. How are they going to cover that loss?

Actually surprised it's as high as that, though I guess there were a lot of renewals like me.

Unhappy and last minute, but they all count.

They'll have lost money and fans with the price increases and PR own goal, but it's still a very solid core.

They actually stopped the half season ticket this season because those people would have been entitled to early bird prices thats how short sighted they are.

It's still a whopping amount [£-loss]and debunks the argument about increasing prices to cover rising costs.
"Price resistance" in the current economic climate is far less elastic and people make choices according to their individual needs.

I was being facetious but the fact is the club after this weekend is in a position where if you're sat in the North Stand as a season ticket holder they are trying to sell the seat next to you for more than £600. In a season where 60% of games are on Sky. The hardcore fans have renewed. Whats left?

And it's going to be a challenge enticing the missing fans when they are going to have to pay extra as a new buyer next time around, unless we have a good season and get promoted.

The problem you have is you don't get them back.
