Sky price hike in April

Get a firestick it’s a lot cheaper than the overpriced sky or virgin and you don’t need a tv licence for a firestick unless you watch iPlayer.

I don’t listen to it but I’m not sure if that comes under a tv licence, you can listen to it on a radio or in your car.
If you listen to a radio you don't need a TV licence, just looked it up (I think). There was a time that you needed one.

If you watch any live broadcast you need a TV licence. Doesn't matter what device you watch it on.

Have sky through Virgin. Comes with highest bb sky and bt sports sky movies, free netflix and mobile and home phone with prime for an extra £5.
Had some horrendous price increases sent to me over the last 8 years, one was a nearly 55% increase.
Always come on here to find out what's been happening locally then go and make the phone call. Always bat the offers away until retentions get involved. They sometimes give me a good offer other times not. Then I tell them to come and get the router and the downstairs and upstairs boxes and please disconnect the home phone.
At this point they usually miraculously realise I've been a customer for so long there is a special deal I can have which won't increase my monthly payment..
I'm still paying the same monthly fee I was 8 years ago and have had netflix and prime added.
Stand firm.
