It's likely that they'll have players who will never reach double digit appearances in the PL already earning more than reliable Championship players. Not much motivation to come here and perform unfortunately.

I was going to say the same, there doesn't tend to be many young Utd players who go out to Championship and tear it up, OK the exception to that was up the road last season but other than that I can't think of too many others.

If you look at Man Uniteds youth system who has it produced of upper Championship quality recently.
I didn’t think Chong was all that for example the ex Birmingham one. Been a lot of overhyped kids there, the ones that are any good Rashford McTominay play for the first team.

Did any other Championship team loan their players? I can think of only Brandon Williams, and from what I’ve seen he has a bit of an attitude problem.
Birmingham usually have a good relationship with them but they’ve not picked any up this summer.
Maybe there are no stand out players at the moment, and I’m sure United would make sure they had to play a certain amount of games.

Couple have gone to League 1 / 2 think that's it.
So their kids are either not that good, are on too much ££££ wages, or we don't actually want to develop a PL teams young talent and be totally unable to afford them if the loan is successful.
We will have a decent chance of signing O'Brien I would have thought, not so much Greenwood.....odd signing
