I've got worse memories of Boro playing at Hillsborough than at Oakwell.I'd be quite happy for Barnsley to be promoted too, it's been a whole year since I saw us lose there last.
Luton , Barnsley, CarlisleNow the dust has settled a little on our defeat to Coventry, I'd rather they won the play off final today. Theyre organised, disciplined but have a couple of real quality players in Gyokeres and Hamer. Plus, would rather a Midlands team was promoted than a Southern one.
In the League One Play Off final it's a tough one, always considered Sheff Wed a top flight team despite them not being there in the last however long. Big club, but despite that would probably prefer Barnsley to get the win.
Finally, in League Two it's Carlisle all day for me. Stockport have had a tremendous 2 or 3 years but always prefer to see the more local clubs do well.
Just been chatting with some old school Luton fans and they didn't seem too bad to be honest. Much better mannered and decent than their footy teamLuton , Barnsley, Carlisle
Well I'm in the minority of 1.......'awwwaayyyy County!!!
The world would be boring if we all thought the same way. Always had a bit of a soft spot for Carlisle for some reason, but let the best team win.Well I'm in the minority of 1.......'awwwaayyyy County!!!
I'll be at the game, be disappointed if County don't win but if not - meh. Come a long way in 4 years, from National League North, no ground, no money to tantalisingly close to League 2.The world would be boring if we all thought the same way. Always had a bit of a soft spot for Carlisle for some reason, but let the best team win.
Is Carlisle covered by NW now on BBC?In the ancient days (Viking raiders most summers), Look North had the North East and Cumbria, hence Carlisle was always in the football. Oddly, felt closer than Leeds - Yorkshire TV was blocked ....
Watching Boro at Edgeley Park and being back in the house for tea at 5-15......Is Carlisle covered by NW now on BBC?
I want Luton to go up as I think Cov will be rubbish when they lose their key men. Although conversely I also want Everton to come down tomorrow and am happy to just take them on.
Sheff Wed as I love a Sheffield away trip and there won’t be one otherwise.
County - I live in the Borough of Stockport and I have a little fantasy of one day watching Boro play there (again!).
We’ve spoken about it before mate I’m not far from you at all. I’m about 5 minutes walk from the Moor Top.Watching Boro at Edgeley Park and being back in the house for tea at 5-15......
Whereabouts in Stockport are you if you don't mind me asking?
