None of my mates visit this site anymore and they all used to love it back in the day. I pop on every now and then but it's very left wing now sadly. It is all about Labour this and Labour that. Very anti Ben Houchen too. I hate the tories like most on here but Labour will be a lot worse that's just my opinion though and I respect everyone's views on here as to freedom of speech.

The only people who find this board "very left wing" are people who are quite right wing. It's left leaning, but there's only a handful of very left wing posters and they often get criticised for their views.
Mind not sure why I'm bothering replying as the only people left who claim to think it's possible for Labour to be worse (never mind much worse) than the tories are tory shills.

Why do the freedom of speech brigade not seem to understand that any decent person would use their freedom of speech to tell peopel Houchen is a crook? Like much the right do, it's mired in hypocrisy.
You're very welcome to defend Houchen with evidence of his good deads but I think we both know that will be a tall order

Personally think anyone's political views should be respected.......up to a point. Goes for both sides, but extreme lefties and extreme righties are on the path to becoming consumed by hatred. Not good.
The board is left leaning. The vast majority of people on here - I imagine - are from solid working class backgrounds, socialist upbringing. If it were right leaning I probably wouldn't be on here - or would certainly not interact with any non Boro footy posts.
The problem we have with politics in this country is that for years people have been well and truly f*cked over by the government and they have had enough. BUT. On the flip side, some haven't really been affected and are doing okay......and as long as they are okay, bollox to everyone else. It's their own fault they are in poverty/poor health/live on the streets etc. Middle ground has become almost impossible, and this is why as a country we won't move forward as we should.
The Tories aren't interested in any reconciliation, lurching mentally more and more to the right; Labour are trying but accused of becoming Tory lite so....... can't see much changing unless Labour turn the economy around and people can breathe. Can they do it......one term, doubtful.
So on we go, a divided country, too many people with entrenched views unwilling to budge.
Only a decent kit next season and and a well stocked club shop can save us now

The next 3 posts after his are all quoting him and your telling him to go to another board, purely because he says what he thinks.
If you tell everyone who doesn’t think same as you to get off the board, then their won’t be any other opinion or debate
If he thinks labour are gonna be worse, then that’s his opinion, why am should he have to leave the board because of it?

If you're including me in this (I was the third one to comment). That is very much a lie. I actually invited him to debate. He whined about the massively curropt Ben Houchen getting a bad deal on here. If he thinks this is unfair then he’s more than welcome to explain why.

The thing is, Zorro aside, the only people complaining about the board being unpleasant are the Tory shills. You know the ones. “But I didn’t vote Tory/im not political but…” and then other repeat Tory rhetoric or defend them in some way. Maybe they need to just take a step back, work out WHY people currently hate Tory shills. Why there is so much anger at them? Defend them if you must, but realise WHAT exactly you are defending and how that my upset people enough to respond negatively.

There are people stating about pile ons on this thread, my post was about 1 person stating their mind and next 3 posts are all quoting him, with one telling me he to leave the board. That’s what I was referencing…
