Southampton want Braithwaite....

The stupidity of those running Barcelona when they signed Braithwaite can be measured by the fact they gave him a four and a half year contract.

He still has two years left and they’re struggling to shift him. Why would he want to move? It’s not his fault clubs are stupid and don’t look after their money properly.

Barca will never go out of business

I think people underestimate how powerful some foreign clubs are.
Foreign clubs? You think Manchester United or Liverpool would be allowed to go out of business? We have a handful of clubs on these shores that have tried to destroy the football pyramid and have completely skewed the financial landscape within the game, all for their own benefit.

I’ve said for years English football is the most corrupt league in the world. Italy relegated their biggest cash cow in juve after their scandal.

as you say could you ever see that happening to Man U or Liverpool if the same were to happen here.

Not a chance.

He clearly had something when he was here under Monk, but Pulis wanted rid and that was that.
What did he clearly have under Monk?
I was watching very closely and didn't see anything.
I've been watching since he left too and not so much as a nudge.
He was a really bad signing for us and another Barcelona financial disaster.

This is true, the main investors that are keeping them afloat are a company owned by the president of real Madrid I believe - he obviously realises the mutual benefit of coexisting with barca.

Pulis or not his attitude was poor.

I think he came here thinking he'd be far too good for the championship, we'd "smash the league" (copyright S. Gibson 😉) and after a season of running rings round champo defenders he'd be in the premier League.

As soon as it became apparent that wasn't going to happen and the penny dropped that the championship is actually a pretty tough league, with most weeks being a proper battle for points he didn't really want to know. No fight in him whatsoever.
