Sprouts?

Why do some people love them, whilst others are disgusted by the smell of the Devils Testicles? Are those that like them already damned?

Love them, it wouldn't be Christmas dinner without them (I can't comment on the taste of Satan's kn@ckers though).

As much as I love them, all it takes to render them inedible is them being overcooked. No one likes a mushy sprout not even a sprout lover.

Not true! I am partial to a mushy sprout. In fact I prefer them slightly mushy to slightly crunchy.

For me it’s the smell, stinks out the kitchen. I read somewhere that they contain a chemical that’s released during cooking that some people find offensive.

I've spent the past 6 months of so growing them specially for Xmas - but they've blown and got covered in aphids & mould. They might taste a bit different this year

I will have two put on my plate every Christmas, I will eat one of them and leave the other.

You also need an excuse for stinking the house out when you have a nap in the chair.

I wasn't a fan until I followed a colleague's advice last year with the bacon and chestnuts in the oven. Suddenly made them a lot nicer.
