I’m wondering who is in the “keep him” camp? At £80k a month I’m sure there’s better out there for that price plus that kind of salary is probably more reserved for a Prem player who is actually playing in the top division. Personally I’d not want him back, as I think he’s overrated and makes too many unforced errors.

As far as I know he’s on £80k — maybe that’s his Citeh salary but we’re definitely paying some of it.

Depends on the price and the salary. He's got better and better as the season has progressed. He's not Randolph, but he's the best we've had since then.

If we get a chance to have him back we should take it. Would be one of the best signings we could possibly make.

If you think there is a better suited keeper to the way we play who might come here then you are wrong.

Given that any keeper in a Carrick team needs to be able to play with his feet means that the market is suddenly a lot smaller for us.

Personally I think he's a brilliant fit for us and really hope we can get him back next season.

Shrugged off a nervy start to be the best keeper we've had in years. Course I would keep him. Hopefully we will be able to work something out.

Outstanding and for me our number one name on the starting 11. Sadly we won’t be on a position to afford him but anybody else is a step down as Steffen started so many of our successful attacking moves. Massively underrated by the fans in my humble opinion. Also, one of the most impressive responses to the fans following our pathetic play off loss.

I'd have him back. The 'issue' we have is that a keeper who can 'do what he does' is a major part of our game.

Don't get me wrong... His shot stopping has been superb over the last couple of months.

I'm sure we can find a tall keeper who's a good shot stopper. Finding one who's good with his feet is a massive problem. Especially lower leagues or cheap.

The games gone if he's genuinely on 80k a week. I can't believe that. Yet Balogun was on 40k and hadn't scored a senior league goal.

Keep, can’t be ar5ed to retype what has been said above. Personally supported him from the start when he was being slagged off on here.

He has had some mares through the season, I have criticized him on here several times, but I always believed he would get better. As it turned out I think he will be a top goalkeeper if he his first choice goalkeeper at his club, towards the end of this season the confidence and progress of his goalkeeping was evident. I would have him back if it is possible without hesitation
