On November 25th Sunderland were 20 points above bottom of the table Sheffield. They finished up 3 points above them! Good job done by Danny Rohl. 👏

It seems Bellingham is being made the latest target for their vitriol as apparently he's been dogshyte for months now and they suspect he's got clause in his contract saying he can't be dropped.

Utter circus that club, with clowns as owners if true.

They’ve been absolute dog dirt second half of the season. 16 points in their last 20 games is comfortably relegation form. They’re in massive massive trouble, I think they go down again next year

Yep, my favourites for the drop next season. The owner won't put any money into the club. This summer Clarke will leave and next season they will struggle big time I think.

What's funnier is how smug they were at the start of the season when we started terribly and they did ok. How good their recruitment was, how their leadership was so clever with this brilliant strategy of spending **** all and hoping to stumble across a diamond.

They are an unambitious, skint, rotten club whose stadium is falling apart. They should have been honoured to have Mogga instead they thought they were too good for him.

Sorry to break it to you Mackems but you are a bonafide yo-yo club and have been for 70 years.

Please don't upset them.
They will be making comparisons with us and then telling each other we aren't their "rivals" and our games are not "derby's".
It's well past their bedtime anyway

Yoyoing between the championship and league 1

It's great reading this thread back now.

They finished 6 points off relegation in the final standings which is astonishing when you take into account their home attendances .. oh hang on.. that counts for fk all!
They make up their attendances too. The number of games I've seen where the ground is half empty and they claim tgere is 41k there is remarkable.

My absolute favourite post from that thread:
