Yeah, they both can beAre you really suggesting Connolly can be clinical?
I think Watmore is our best option but I wouldn’t describe him as clinical either.

Has Lumley cost us any points or made any real mistakes since he won his place back under Wilder? I can't think of any. And the moments when he takes his time to play the ball out, and opposition strikers get really close to him and there's an audible outpouring of doubt from supporters, don't count. He's been generally fine under Wilder, hasn't he? The Hull goal was awful but other than that I can't really remember a moment where you can pin something on him regarding a goal or points dropped.Glad he’s dropped Lumley but he took too long to do it.
When did he last score a dozen or seven goals, or anything like that?I still think that if Connolly gets one he'll get five. He's a weird player. I like him. He just seems to be the sort who'll blast a dozen goals in and then not score for three months, then hit another seven. Or maybe he's the sort who won't get you one when you need one but scores all five in a 5-0 win.
QPR away and Hull at homeHas Lumley cost us any points or made any real mistakes since he won his place back under Wilder? I can't think of any. Apart from Hull!QPR away and Hull at home
I’m looking forward to the interview with Warnock where he laughs about Lumley not being his first choice and in the end preferring Daniels.. before they got rid of him!Glad he’s dropped Lumley but he took too long to do it.
Yes, last time he played.Has Lumley cost us any points or made any real mistakes since he won his place back under Wilder? I can't think of any. He passed the ball to their forward who scoredApart from Hull!
What was the QPR one? I remember them scoring a screamer. Probably the first time a Chair has dramatically altered a game of professional football. What was the other?
Youth football. But to me it just *feels* like he might be the sort to go on a run. It's just a hunch and probably won't happen at Boro TBH.When did he last score a dozen or seven goals, or anything like that?
Worth sticking a tenner on it.. you might have ‘the gift’Youth football. But to me it just *feels* like he might be the sort to go on a run. It's just a hunch and probably won't happen at Boro TBH.
I mentioned the Hull goal and asked for other examples. I'd forgotten about QPR, which was also poor. I'm not saying Wilder is wrong to drop him or fans are wrong to be doubtful or unconvinced by him. I was just looking for examples.Yes, last time he played.
No mistakes, of course not, that’s why Wilder has dropped him….,
Also did my post say he hadn't made any mistakes? It might be an important distinction to make TBF.Yes, last time he played.

Really ???Has Lumley cost us any points or made any real mistakes since he won his place back under Wilder? I can't think of any.
It's pretty obvious the Hull mistake is a given. If you quoted the whole post you'd see that. Blimey O'Riley.Really ???
