The Benefits of drinking filtered water

I obviously got the fluoride wrong but it removes other stuff that appears harmful if drinking in larger quantities, which I am doing.
Conspiracy quackery ?
🤣
Yes. Conspiracy quackery. On the same theme as your previous posts:

We got Virgin Pure set up in our house, unlimited filtered cold or boiling water at the press of a button and no messing about with jugs of water going in the fridge and changing the filter every couple of weeks. It was a game-changer - even not counting health benefits - coming from 30+ years in Hartlepool to Ingleby, the water here was awful to the point of undrinkable in comparison, now it's actually enjoyable and we drink loads of it. Costs a lot less and more eco-friendly than loads of plastic bottled water as well.

I would say drinking more water will be flushing out toxins from your body and combined with the better diet will reduce inflammation inside your body and make you feel better. Inflammation is the cause of just about all disease known to man.

Worst things to cause inflammation:

Refined Added Sugar
Alcohol
Trans Fats
Refined Carbohydrates
High Omega 6 Intake
Artificial Sweeteners
Hydrogenated Vegetable Oils
Processed Foods

I have a filter but it's because our water is hard and I don't want it to break my coffee machine. I don't use the filter for anything else and I drink it from the tap unfiltered.

Contrary to the OP the things in water that are filtered out by filters (calcium and magnesium) are good for you, especially if you aren't getting enough of them elsewhere in your diet.

That seems expensive for what it does.

We use an Aqua Optima filter, which does this:

"Aqua Optima filters have a 5-Step Filtration technology which significantly reduces unwanted substances found in tap water. In the first step, the fine particle filter removes large particles, sediment and rust. In the second step, activated carbon absorbs chlorine and filters out organic impurities, including humic acids, pesticides and herbicides. In step three, a special ion exchange resin helps prevent limescale build up and reduces heavy metals. The fourth step has a fine mesh that filters out tiny particles. The Aqua Optima Evolve+ filter reduces limescale, chlorine, heavy metals pesticides, herbicides and lead."

Which of those would you want left in your water?

Our bodies are already fitted with an advanced filtration system.

Northumbrian Water PDF ( big table of exactly what is in water - 'chemicals' = H2O also ;-)

Fluoride Is naturally occurring in all water sources. Your Water Supply Zone does not have any additional Fluoride added by us.

Lead – Some older properties, pre-1970, may have lead pipes or lead soldering and we are working to remove lead in your water zone. Please visit our website or call us and we can arrange a free water test.

Chlorine – Water is treated with a small amount of chlorine to keep it disinfected and stop any harmful organisms growing in it, as it travels to your tap. In your water supply zone, we do not add a small amount of ammonia during treatment, so the water is not chloraminated.

Can I interest you in some Optima magic beans?

The delights of the pseudo-science,

A "filter" can only remove insoluble particles, so to claim it can absorb Chlorine (a gas) is laughable.

I'm a level 5 water drinker. I only drink Reverse Osmosis water from a glass bottle that's been blessed by a priest (both the water and bottle) .
