The Championship coverage on SKY next year.

It's meant to all be announced up until the 3rd round of the FA Cup at the start of the season, that's all the way till January.

So that's over half the season in advance, and they've promised to give more warning for the rest.
Then if your team is doing well your games will be on at 3pm rarely. So if Carrick gets them firing and you take the train to home games you're in for an exciting time

As long as we don't get many Monday night matches, I'm easy.
I don't think they'll be choosing times that clash with the Premier League games. I can see Saturday and Sunday nights being used, they're already experimenting with Saturday nights for Prem games.

I wonder if tea time games for Friday and Monday will be introduced?

Depressing thought.

They will surely want crowds at the games, if only to increase the tv spectacle - so surely tea time kick offs on weekdays would be less likely.

Right now there are meant to be 5 televised matches per weekend.

They already use Friday night, Saturday midday, teatime and night, Sunday midday and Monday night for Championship fixtures, so that should cover it.

It's only really Monday night and Saturday teatime that would regularly clash with the Premier League and I think that they'll end up broadcasting both at the same time as they have so much available to show now.

I don't think they'd have teatime kick-offs on regular Fridays and Mondays, they'd realise it would end up with thousands more fans unable to attend because of work obligations and it would damage the product they're selling.

That's just my thoughts though, I could be wrong.

I thought the point was just like now on the Red Button they will be screening several weekend games kicking off at the same time and people select their game to watch.

I looked for times but couldn't find anything announced. This could be correct and they're looking for a way to stop the pirates. Hopefully they fail

I think they'll use the existing time slots that people are used to.

There will be a Friday night every week as that doesn't clash with the PL. They'll then run 2 on Saturday, early and late and then either 2 on Sunday or 1 on Sunday and a Monday night.

They might do it for one set of fixtures, but they're almost definitely going to have Friday night, Saturday midday and Sunday midday as regular features, they're already regular as it is.
That's 3 of the 5 weekend televised matches sorted already.

I think they're more likely to use the Saturday 8pm than have overlaps, but there are going to be regular Mondays with a Premier League match on, so that's the one I see being less fixed.
