It might have turned into an expensive match ticket, as it stands you got paid a couple of quid to watch that dross!I won't do it again, that's for sure
Lately it hasn't been typical. We would have lost that last season.Typical Boro, tea and valium please.
That's true I guess. Main thing is we're in the hat for the next round but we made hard work of it.to be fair, we don't know who has had covid, and who is feeling weak from it, I wouldn't read too much into individual performances today
...we would have lost that earlier this season!Lately it hasn't been typical. We would have lost that last season.

Some playerClass cross from Jones, kept his feet & just put across goal to oncoming players
You'd think he is still covid positive, probably the same for Hall since Cain Sykes was on the bench, others possibly still positive would be Fry, Sporar, Connolly, Taylor and maybe Watmore although he has been nursing an injury. So maybe as many as 6 players not free from covid yetFor the latecomers like me. Where was Payero?
Well said, The cup is all about progressing and surviving. We did that is all that is important. Talk to Burnley fans at the momentFeels like lots in here have never seen an FA Cup tie against lower league opposition before.
A “classic” FA cup match really played in dreadful conditions. Could have been 5 or 6 each.
Like people have said we don’t know how many of the lads who played were affected by covid and lack of training.
We are in the next round and no extra time. I’m happy with that.
Likely the same as the others who are unavailableFor the latecomers like me. Where was Payero?
Might be the best thing for us, a good work out to test some of those youngsters, and to force our more experienced players to push those lungs after illnessThat's true I guess. Main thing is we're in the hat for the next round but we made hard work of it.
Totally agree, logic goes out of the window on these games, you just settle for getting throughFeels like lots in here have never seen an FA Cup tie against lower league opposition before.

Didm't think they were any hungrier in my opinion. We battled throughout but were put on the backfoot as Mansfield threw the contents of the kitchen cupboard as well as the sink at us.Great game for the neutral, had everything apart from a 22 man brawl and a dog on the pitch.
Lucky to get through after a really committed display by Mansfield, they were hungrier than us which given the conditions acted as a leveller.
The second goal is all about a goalkeeper who simply can't make basic saves. Utterly dreadful.Having watched the highlights again, Bamba was culpable for both their goals. Poor awareness of their striker for the first, caught with his body square for the second which left Wood 1 vs 1 and the lad had the run on him. Again though, I'm not going to be too tough on him as we don't know his covid situation or training situation this week
