Things you're looking forward to next season

Now that our place in the Championship is all but confirmed for next season, what are you looking forward to that you would have missed if we'd somehow got up to the PL ?

For me:-

1) No VAR and having to hang around for 10 minutes before celebrating because Latte-Lath may have put a fingernail offside

2) Actually going into most games thinking we can win, and not just turning up hoping we can somehow against all odds snatch a draw against Hyperglobalconglomerate PLC FC

Not being in the PL is good enough for me 👍

Might be in a minority but I actually like the competitiveness/ mental aspect of the Championship.

Sky going absolutely mental when one of our players fairly tackles one of their love child players and he's rolling around on the floor holding his face, cheating like a big cheating get......pundits bemoaning that our players boot brushed his leg.......

Agree with that, although we're going to have to suffer the Luke O'Nein tribute show at least twice next season, if of course, he decides to play football and not do a bit of impartial commentary instead.

More matches, more likelihood of winning, easy access to viewing away matches.

Those are the only positives of staying in the Championship for me.

Would take promotion every day of the week.

⬆️ 100%

Possibly more matches in the deep south for me to wander off to providing Southampton and Plymouth don't go walkabout and Pompey don't have the mother of all FU's.
Might even get my passport out and head into the very desolate northern wastelands of Derbyshire to descend into the depths of Pride park to retrieve 3 very valuable points along with the far Northern Brotherhood.

Easier access to away tickets, if we get in the premiership it will be a mad scramble. However the prices are nearly as expensive for an away fan in the championship than the premiership, so £25 or £20 is enough really for away fans.

Challenging for the automatic spots!!!

There are a couple of if's to throw in here; if we get a our recruitment right and do the inbound and very importantly the outbound early enough to not have a slow start and if we have a bit of luck with injuries then I think we have every chance next season of being in the mix

I'm not looking forward to the ludicrous kick off times which will be coming in next season to account for all of the live games on sky every week, saturday at 8pm and sunday at noon will be regular fixtures most likely especially if we're up the top end of the table
