Britt’s a free agent in the summer. I don’t see what’s In it for him to leave now. That £2m transfer fee could be his in a signing on bonus or wages come July.

Given the current state of football I think it's risky for players to completely wind down their contracts. Not as easy to pick up a new club as in the past. Plus always the risk of a serious injury in the last few months of a contract. Hoping he signs for them. Had enough of watching his half arsed performances.

Remember us accepting a £2m offer for Bates in a January window from Swansea and he turned it down hoping for a big pay day instead by running his contract out.

Bet he still regrets it, got greedy. Also particularly stupid given his history of injuries.

He's one of the best CBs in the league. Also who plays CB when he's in CM? We play 3 CMs and we have 4. I wouldnt say that's stacked.

I think the only person who thinks Mcnair is a CM is Mcnair

Sky News deadline day is purely to get the Sky Bet market moving. Nothing more nothing less.

Look at the coverage Messi and Bale got last summer, they were adamant Messi was leaving and Bale was joining Man Utd after they told us all Sancho was signing for Utd.

I think we'd need backup if Wing goes - we've only got 4 senior pros and play three every match (to the detriment of their fitness in recent weeks).

Coulson I'd be happier going (and not replacing). Bola first choice and Johnson can back up.

I think most business will be done at the top of the pitch. I think a new striker may be contingent on one leaving (we've currently got three and usually only start with one). Could depend if he sees Fletch as playing on the wing tho?

Thinking of Adrian Mutu after Chelsea sacked him and he went on to sign for Juventus as a free agent. Not sure of the ins and outs of it though.
