Treasury reports everyone must pay more tax

Once again, Tories ‘managing’ a future message to the public. What a disgrace.
Their ideological choices to push this ‘50 billion black hole’ partly onto the Uk public is the biggest con-trick ever…..as the Tories leave BP, Shell etc…tens of billions excess profits alone, non dom status worth 3 billion plus, cancelling charitable status on private schools meaning businesses can’t funnel profits in to them paying for their own childrens private education, landlords paying much less tax alone.
All ideological to protect those that fund and support them and then lie to the Uk public that these increased taxes are our only choice. LIE.

More tax needs to be collected from most people living in the UK or people making money in the UK, if not there will be no UK.

It should be pro rota so the more wealthy people and organisations pay more.

It doesn't always happen at present - examples a lot of Big Tech and Shell etc not paying UK Corporation tax, expensive car owners that don't pay road tax because they are electric, people able to claim £16k a year in tax relief on private pension contributions, stamp duty exemptions on £625k properties, allowing people to put their properties into Trust to avoid paying care fees, very low council tax relative to value of the property e.g. council tax below 0.25% of the value of the property.

Austerity 2.0, coming to the poor soon. Smash those at the bottom while those at the top continue to increase their wealth. 😳😳

UK 2022.
Coming to the poor? It's public services mate, it effects all of us other than multi millionaire hedge fund managers.

A brainwashed and confused working class - one opinion poll this week indicating the public think austerity measures are right and necessary.

Turkeys saying they enjoy Christmas.
Quite incredible how thick the English public actually are (more; not the Scot’s, Welsh & Irish)
We literally are the most illiterate electorate in the west.
The Tories must laugh their asses off at how they so easily hoodwink the majority of sheep in England

And the 'party of low taxation' - with highest tax levels for over 70 years (highest in over 50 pre-covid) - will STILL without any sense of irony tell people at the next election to vote for them to stop Labour tax rises

Furlow has to be paid for somehow guys 👍
It was a godsend for many during Covid 👍
Weird rules attached to it - not allowed to work for your regular company at all (not even answer e mails) and yet free to take another paid job?

Massive rich companies claiming furlough money?

It was designed to be exploited wasn’t it?

And some of us worked through got Jaques Chirac.

Billions given to Tory mates for duff PPE has to be paid for 👍
Billions written off because of preventable Covid loan fraud has to be paid for 👍
Billions lost in trade because of Tory Brexit has to be paid for 👍
Millions wasted for stupid Tory vanity projects has to be paid for 👍
Billions wiped out of the economy due to the disastrous Tory mini-budget has to be paid for 👍
12 years of Tory mismanagement of the economy has to be paid for 👍

None of which the Tories will actually pay for.

Yep, I was in that camp as well, worked through and didn’t get a penny, just an employer who treated everybody in our company as if we had spent 6 months watching daytime telly at his expense despite achieving record profits that year….

It is the Tory way with taxes. They cut the rate of tax to give the top earners more money than low earners and now aren't going to raise the threshold to take proportionally more money off the poor.

If you add 1p to the Basic Tax rate someone on £50k+ would pay £375 more. An average earner on £26k would pay £132 more.
If you reduced the Personal Allowance from £12,750 to £12,090 both the highest earners & average earners pay £132 more.

We are all in it together.

A government does not have finances that an individual or family has. I’m waiting to hear Sunak to state the “credit card is maxed out”. It doesn’t work like that and he bloody knows it too.

The Tories scarred people into believing Labour caused the mess of the Financial Crisis. They used it to hammer public services and most have never recovered. Going after them again could be a disaster.
