I would seriously think about relocating to Western Australia in the very south west if we could. (Elderly parents are a reason, but we are simply not wanted out there - no Visa possible at our age and me being effectively retired)
It's frustrating as we would be extremely comfortable out there and absolutely no burden on the Australian state. Their Visa rules are strict.
We had migrants visas when 29 and chose not to go as I had a strong career trajectory and had just been promoted.
Its one of only a couple of decisions I've made that ever really trouble me.
I'd possibly go because I love it there, not because I don't like it here.
We have a wonderful country and North Yorkshire is the jewel in its crown for me.
