It's just as bad as fag smoke. Having someone puffing out their gut wrenching sickly sweet lung fog in your vicinity.

And some seem to think that's ok to do it near you because it's purported to be less dangerous than cigarette smoke.

Not carcinogenic or potentially lethal, like carbon monoxide - from diesel and petrol engined vehicles.
Cars idling outside schools are more danger to childrens long term health than a whiff of "black cherry".

They don’t have the issues we have with ‘leisure’ vaping in the youths

Vaping in public is done by those who are extremely selfish and who have no care for others.

No vested interest in this but doesn't bother me in the slightest. Seems strange people comparing the inconvenience of the smell to smoking. I mean it may be sickly sweet but surely that's better than cigarette smoke?

Obviously if there are public health issues like passive smoking then it becomes more of an issue.

And that’s where we return to the unknown that we lived with for decades with smoking. History repeating.

We’ve gone from that crap world where we had to deal with persistent smoker to fresh air, and now we are reverting backwards again

Its not the smell its the amount of young kids absolutely hooked on these. We dont know the long term health implications.

Imagine if they brought out strawberry flavoured cigarettes there’s be an outrage.

Indeed. In fact there were said to be so healthy back in the day they even advertised them on kids TV. No wonder 70% of British men and 40% of British women smoked back in the 60s with that on TV every day.

I’m not talking about people who vape ( responsibly ) I’m talking about the scum “industry” that has grown up around it.

But I do think that there’s an anti social aspect as well. Very few people would blow cigarette smoke brazenly into someone’s face but you see this in vaping all the time.

I wouldn't disagree with that, however there are lots of posts, the op being one of them, that just want to moan, no real focus on yourng folk, mostly on how much they don't like it.

I don't like **** heads, I just avoid them atherr than call for a ban.

I would rather not have my lungs filled with this from selfish folk on top of the other crap we all have no choice for now but to breath in. I’ll be glad when diesel and petrol fumes are gone, but for now it is much easier to ban vaping, or at least do it in your own homes and kill off your own families lung and heart cells, rather than inflict it on others. They seem as addictive as cigarettes, more so actually, some people are forever on them.
