Very sad to see Yusuf getting abuse on Twitter

Some individuals are complete cretins. Yusuf getting uncalled for comments on Twitter.

Why? Because he posts very enthusiastically about the club he supports, the club he loves - Boro.

Some idiots can’t handle this and resort to pathetic, childish behaviour.

Don’t let the haters win Yusuf. You’re part of the Boro family and will always be so - you’re signed up for life, pal!

For the haters- get a bleeding life you sad sacks.

Lots of support for Yusuf too.

The vile abuse looks like it’s coming from the late teen age group who are completely unaware of the significance of what they are saying / doing just to get a few laughs on social media. It really is a cesspit a times.

Can’t imagine what it’s like to have that aimed at you. On the brief occasions I’ve met Yusuf he really is as friendly and likeable as he appears.

Can only assume the Hull fan was an immature teenager, who'd spat his dummy out because we had beaten them and decided to take it out on Yusuf.

We've all probably said and done things in the heat of the moment following a Boro defeat, especially when we were younger but there's absolutely no excuse for resorting to racial abuse.

Unless he sent other abusive tweets that he deleted, it wasn't even on Tuesday, it was yesterday when they appointed Liam Rosenior.
There's no heat of the moment about it, not that it would excuse it anyway.

Some random Boro fan posted "Yusuf what's the score" in the comments of the announcement for Rosenior, and this guy just went straight to awful racism and bigotry in response.

People don't just "accidentally" or "totally out of character" spew racist sh*t. The racist is there, waiting to be (easily) triggered.

Hollow, meaningless apology. Sadly, since BrEXit/Trump these weak minded f*cktards have been given the green light to shown their true colours and society seems more accepting.

F*ck, right off.😡

It is the racists not social media that should be targeted
I couldn’t agree more with you, but a lot of social sites allow users to post racist tripe anonymously and it needs to be policed more stringently in my opinion. It’s great to see forums such as this where the community has gotten behind Yusuf.
