Very sad to see Yusuf getting abuse on Twitter

I love this fella. Remember when was sat in the West Stand during a game at the Riverside, think it was under the Pulis days ... the game was tedious but I remember I could see the lad near the Red Faction running up and down near the advertising boards, punching the air going wild for us. Otherwise, the place was pretty dead at the time haha :ROFLMAO:

Put a smile on my face ... Don't know much about Yusuf, other than he absolutely loves the Boro and there's nothing wrong with that! I often read that he gets grief from one or two cretins ... I guess when you're well-known on social media etc, there's always going to be one, isn't there??

Don't pay attention to it, Yusuf, lad. Keep cheering us on .. UTFB (y)

That automatic response from Twitter is staggering. Issue was brought up this week on the rest is politics actually - how do multinational conglomerates operate when they are effectively more powerful than most states.

Still, at least it's been taken over by one of the most dangerous individuals on the planet this week, so there's that.

Of course Rob above is correct, it's not the platform per se but tacit approval of posts of this nature are worrying.

Not defending Twitter, but aren't thousands of their employees currently waiting to see if they are being laid off, courtesy of the wonderfully anthropological Mr Musk?

One of them may have given it the "f*ck it, can't be ars*d" response to what was a racist comment. So just passed it as okay.

Expect a lot more of this moving forward with Musk's "right to social media free speech".

Can see Twitter going down the sh*tter with the normal, sane users just leaving en masse.

Boro should give out campaign medals for some of the shyte we’ve been through. I sat in the trenches during the Strachan era

I got a different message and the guy confirmed that twitter had deleted his posts. After the huge backlash he said he was sorry.. then deleted his profile when folks found out who he was.

The thing is this person will just make another profile with no name or real profile photo attached to it, and do the same the next time he gets annoyed by someone taking the pi55 out of Hull City.
The first follower that account also had a link to a diy website.

on that website amongst the many photos there was one of the guy who held that account and ran that website..

That picture was taken down or at least the link made private during the backlash..

my thinking is that it was him.

I got both! An email saying Twitter thought there was nothing wrong with it, but then a notification on the site itself that said the posts had been deleted as they broke policies. Very odd.

I think the number of reports would have flagged something up. Shame that he couldn’t realise what he was doing or saying was wrong when folks were pulling him up on it.

At least folks spoke up.
