There is a demographic in London of middle class "activists" that are in fashionable industries like journalism, cafes/bars and media so they think the things that their bubble experience is the same nationwide.Thats me out then. I don't think that's to do with there being less vegans, I think it's because vegans won't pay ridiculous prices just because something is vegan when the meat version is cheaper. Meat alternatives need to be a fair price. If animal products weren't subsidised it would be alot more expensive.Sales for Vegan foods are trending downwards with a lot of supermarkets reducing their ranges. So restaurants would only be hurting themselves if doing so. Anyway, each to their own.

I have been vegan for about 10 days. But I honestly don’t remember feeling like it was being “pushed” on me in any way. I made the leap (from vegetarian) purely out of choice.Thats me out then. Sick of places and people trying to push vegan on us. What happened to choice.

I'd rather eat a good bit of meat, but like atypical said it's our own choice.If really good food options are there, then it just makes sense?

Vegan foods? Fruit, veg, spices, rice, pasta, grains, oil, flour etc - that‘s what most of us use to cook great tasting food from scratch.Sales for Vegan foods are trending downwards with a lot of supermarkets reducing their ranges. So restaurants would only be hurting themselves if doing so. Anyway, each to their own.
