Warnock hopes to have 2 new faces in by end of the week

1 being Crooks. Presume the other would be Paterson as he’s on trial but who knows!
Crooks, Patterson, Junior Hoillet, Kadeem Harris,Sol Bamba are the ones being reported today.
Underwhelming ?
Proven , experienced players, but goals win games and I have a big worry that this group he is putting together lack goals.
It is also lacking youth and pace, but will he get that from Sivi, Jones and Folarin ?

Hope it’s Crooks and not someone else from that list if I’m honest! Very underwhelmed. Not sure I would be happy with Hoilett or Harris.

Crooks is pretty much done (well if he passes medical). I'm happy with him as a cheaper version of Sav and also adds a bit of physicality to the CM. I really liked the look of him in the many Rotherham live games last season.

I'm not sure who the other is. We still need a CF but not much traction on that. Smith from Rotherham?

I'd be stunned if we didn't go for Hoilett. Although I'm not overly fussed as he's had a few injuries.

I'd be happy with Crooks, from the limited amount I've seen of him.

Those other names don't exactly fill me with excitement, but I suppose it's the level we're at. I definitely don't want Kadeem Harris, he is absolutely woeful. Got a mate who's a Wednesday fan, and he says he's one of the least productive players he has ever seen. With Warnock managing him before, and actually dropping him, hopefully he won't fancy him again.

I am a little underwhelmed by the signings but I suppose we are operating under certain financial constraints. I would imagine that in the coming season the parachute payments will have an unusually large impact, given the championship finances.

We can do a lot better than Kadeem Harris. Would be a poor poor signing. Would genuinely rather sign Marvin Johnson back

According to one boro hoilett definitely isn't happening, I'm not sure the poster on their is actually ITK he doesn't get anything right

Crooks is clearly one. Expect that to be announced in the next day or so, so he can join up with the squad in Cornwall.

Got a feeling the other is Kadeem Harris.

I forgot about Johnson. I would genuinely rather have kept him looking at some names linked.

His end product (crossing) was pretty decent last year. We probably offered him buttons or maybe he just fancied a change.

Asked when he brought Bamba in to train whether there was a chance of earning a contract and it was a flat no. Just a favour to help build his fitness. That what been said to me today.

I hope not ! He's 30 and bang average .I was hoping we would get some quality loans in like Reiss Nelson ,Harvey Elliott , Keenan Davis , Ellis Simms ,Matt Longstaff, Ben Davies,Reece Williams, Liam Delap , Kwadwo Baah, but would also be happy with Jerry Yates,Rhys Healey,Siriki Dembele, Reo Griffiths,Dion Charles,Mikael Uhre, Marvin Ducksch, Jon Mellish, Okenabirhie ,
I notice Johnson hasn't found a new club yet, I wouldn't rule it out on him coming back you know.

Might be just me but I don’t really feel underwhelmed at all, TBH. I’ve been saying for a while - as have loads of others - that what this group needs is leadership and authority. We have a core of talented lads, most of them mid-20s and younger, who need direction and guidance. Bolt three or four old heads onto our squad and we’d be much stronger for it.

The big issue is adding goals but in the main I’m behind what Warnock is doing with his transfer business. It’s about building a team. If he can find goals to add to the experience he’s brought/bringing in this summer and combine it with the talent already on the books then I’d fancy us to make a really good crack of it next season.
