Was I the only poster sticking up for Warnock after the Hull game ?

Brilliant three wins on the bounce not a big Warnock fan but fair play to him. However, I think the injuries have helped in strange way and he has stumbled on a winning formula, it has happened to a few managers the good spell Woodgate had with the Boro over Christmas was similar circumstances, also Bobby Robson in the Mexico World cup England were heading out but them he had few injuries and suspensions and he also stumbled on a winning formula including pairing Beardsley with Lineker

20% wanted Warnock to stay - 80% wanted him sacked on here - in the poll.

Not quite everyone wanted him sacked.

With a bit of luck we could have won at Hull and it would have been 5 out of 5 wins and probably most of the 80% want him still sacked but most are lying low at present. Some people just love to criticise.

Looks like he's worked a miracle then eh?
Oh ye of little faith 😂

"Well if he`s staying he`s got 2 weeks to work miracles"
Not entirely sure what your point is with "Oh ye of little faith 😂"

I was willing to give him till the next international break.....you can check my posting history......I believed at the time that would be more than enough time to get us back in the right direction or face the chop

You have a good night Nobby

Do you not think the criticism was justified?

Nice for us to find a bit of form but it's come about due to Warnocks' hand being forced. The worry I have is that when our defenders are fit again we'll see Howson and McNair moved back into midfield.

Payero is now showing us what he can do, and I think Crooks is performing well in that deeper role. Hopefully if this form continues he will stick with it.

I'd still rather he wasn't at the club but I'll take 3 in 3. Also seems that the man he wrote off in Payero has been the key to upturn..
Imagine where we would be in the league now if Warnock had thrown him in from the start instead of pussyfooting around? Hindsight is a wonderful thing though. I agree Payero is making a difference as is Crooks' move further back into midfield.

Great run but... against three really bad sides. NW been forced by injuries to go back to basics and play 442. Instead of dovetailing players (his players) into a system that was none existent and we didnt have the players for, he's started playing to our strenghths which is what many of us were so dissapointed with because he steadfastly refused to do so and was persisting with wung backs and Crooks in no mansland. given the solution was farely obvious and many of said we have decent players, its the manager, im not surprised results have improved nowwe're doing what many of us said we needed to do. Dont forget though, all three games coukd easily have gone tge other way cardiff and Peterborough both hit the wood work and only really todays match were we good value for the win / clearly the better side. Really pleased we're wunning and hovering round the top six and aslong as we're not in a relegation fight, then it is what it is. But dont like NW football / personality but pleased we're back in the hunt
Bollox.
you could say every game hinges on certain moments
Really, just look at your self and lack of belief and faith in a manager who has done it before and knows how to gradually moguls a team despite injuries
A different manager would’ve felt sorry for him self but not Warnock, a let’s crack on attitude
Give him some fecking credit you numnut

I was surprised how much vitriol NW was getting before even 2 months of the season were up!

We have had a transitional summer and it was always going to take a bit of time for the team to start gelling.

What would have happened if Warnock got binned off and the new bloke didn’t get instant results? Would fans want him sacked too after a couple of months?

Maybe it would have destroyed the lad. Maybe Warnock has managed him perfectly. Maybe it was clear to those working with him that he needed his partner here to help his frame of mind.

I still want warnock gone and this is the only time I have ever called for or even wanted a manager sacking.

As others have said the current line up has been stumbled upon and we have had a run of the easiest possible games.

When warnock can move the old gaurd back into midfield he will and ignore the evidence.

I truly believe he is an awful manager who has failed to take any responsability for 2021,preferring to blame the ref and individual players. Watch his Antics on the touchline, its like watching a huffy kid not a professional manager.

I guess time will tell.
