Was I the only poster sticking up for Warnock after the Hull game ?

I still want warnock gone and this is the only time I have ever called for or even wanted a manager sacking.

As others have said the current line up has been stumbled upon and we have had a run of the easiest possible games.

When warnock can move the old gaurd back into midfield he will and ignore the evidence.

I truly believe he is an awful manager who has failed to take any responsability for 2021,preferring to blame the ref and individual players. Watch his Antics on the touchline, its like watching a huffy kid not a professional manager.

I guess time will tell.
I completely disagree with you....
For me Warnock has worked miracles.
He's got a great team spirit in the dressing room.
New overseas signings are starting to bed in.
Youngsters have a pathway to the first team and are involved.
He's still 2 players short in his squad.
Signing of his old boys Bamba and Peltier has been a masterstroke.
We are in the playoff zone despite massive injury problems.
He has every right to get narked on the touchline, some of the decisions are shocking.
He should get manager of the month for October.
I don't know any other manager who I would rather have in charge right now 👍👍🎃

We're entitled to disagree nobby, no problem with that.

Bollox.
you could say every game hinges on certain moments
Really, just look at your self and lack of belief and faith in a manager who has done it before and knows how to gradually moguls a team despite injuries
A different manager would’ve felt sorry for him self but not Warnock, a let’s crack on attitude
Give him some fecking credit you
Are you a drinker?

Eeeeeeeee…..look folks, we have so called supporters like this ! Hahaha…

I had to defend why I was applauding the team after Hull City at the KCOM Stadium. There were others applauding. Many more throwing abuse, plastic bottles and v signs. There were some heated discussions in the rain by the Humber but thankfully the young man that walked over to quiz me on my views was perfectly polite. Did I believe Warnock was the man to turn us around? Could he take us back into the top half? You are entitled to your opinion he said to my answers..

I have to diasgree a bit with you on this, Laughing. I agree the formation has been forced to a large degree, but where there has been some choice it has been managed well in recent games i.e the use of Jones, Hernandez, Watmore, Crooks (could have been used as a defender but hasn't) and Ipkenzu.

At the beginning of the season Sheff United and Cardiff were expected to be top 6, Barnsley mid table, OK Peterboro and Hull were expected to be in the bottom 6. (all based on bookies odds). There are no easy games in the Championship.

To be fair I said you couldn't blame Warnock for Hull. We played well enough and should have been out of site by the time they scored a fluky og.

You can't coach players to miss chances. The Hull defeat was purley down to missed chances. That's not on the gaffer.

They ain't won since..... A god awful side. That's why everyone was so annoyed (still.... Should have been 4 from 4).

5 from 5 you mean....it gets even better...We also beat Sheff Utd comfortably and they ain't one of the 'poorer sides'

Nobby you are pointing out how inconsistent we have been, and you are right. We were inconsistent last season too with a fairly settled squad.

It's that not down to the manager?

If it was just this season I would tend to agree, but it hasn't been.

Warnock was saying a couple of weeks ago that Payero wasn't up to speed, whatever that means. We get a few injuries and by a stroke of luck Payero gets up to speed at just the right time. Now that could be a bit of good fortune or it could be warnock just didn't want to play him.

Similarly with Jones he was rubbish in training and dropped from the team. Injury crisis hits and Jones looks good when he comes on. Good luck Jones running into form at just the right time? Maybe I don't know.

It seems to me that warnock has a certain kind of player he likes and the others get sacrificed on the alter of proving the old man right.

My issue with him is that these are young men trying to make their way in their chosen profession and are often marginalised by warnock to play a throw back game and prove he was right.

Over and above that, and I admit this colours my opinion, I really don't like the man and my dislike is based on multiple things.

I find it very uncomfortable when he criticises our players in public, criticism that is sometimes hard to confirm or difficult to agree with. It's uncomfortable because it shouldn't happen, ever. He comes acrid as a buily when he does this.

His ranting and raving on the touchline at refs when he should be concentrating on getting the team sorted out.

His use of excuse after excuse. I have never heard him talk of collective responsability or the buck stopping with him.

He seems a very disrespectful, finger pointing angry old man.

His hand was forced by injuries who knows what side he would have fielded if not. We looked ok in the last game which I really enjoyed. The two before were not a lot to write home about. Two poor teams who had loads of possession against us. Let's wait a bit longer Nobby before hailing him a Messiah.
Me I still want him gone.
