Losing count but is it currently 11 we have brought in?
That’s pretty impressive with perhaps 1 or 2 more. Fair play to the Club👍
 
I quite like the approach the club has taken this time around, we’ve made a number of permanent signings of players who show promise but are still very much rough around the edges and unlikely to win us promotion this season. We are now bringing in higher quality players on loan to strengthen the team, gives us a chance to dream of promotion but also means we aren’t having to rebuild massively next season as the permanent signings should hopefully have grown in quality

Quality over quantity surely? (Abit like a parmo haha)

Strachan signed a load of players (albeit mostly from Scotland) and set the club back 3-4 years

Sign 11 lads and hopefully 3 or 4 come good?

I think similar tbh, we needed bodies after losing 6 first teamers. I think its safe to say we can kiss promotion goodbye this season, just got to hope its next year. The thought of another 4/5 years in the wilderness makes me sick

That's the spirit !

We're 4 games in, so we might as well give up now, after all whoever heard of a team in the bottom 3 after 4 games being promoted - ridiculous idea, it'll never happen.
 
I think the club have seen how we’ve started the season and panicked. Don’t get me wrong, I’m delighted we’ve got some bodies in and hopefully can sneak a playoff place, but really we’re just developing a player for Leeds 🤢
 
Saw yesterday that we were 11 in and 12 out.
Didn't include Greenwood and O'brien.

I am not completely writing the season off but 12 new signings, most of them with zero championship experience are expected to come in and win the league? Sorry I dont look through rose tinted glasses like a lot on here but promotion this season aint happening with that squad and ill accept and wager...

Would rather have Quality over Quantity, anyday.
How many on that list would have got in our team last February/March?
Maybe Lewis O’Brien, if he is the same player he was in 2021, but cannot make a case for anyone else.
 
Don’t really see it as much of a positive having to sign this many players, definitely paying the price for our poor recruitment over the last few years

if it clicks, could it reach the play offs? Yes, it's feasible. Is it probable? Who knows until we see how they gel. The xG for and against says we are not to far away from being a top 6 side. Lets make it a three game unbeaten run against QPR and work on the training ground for a couple of weeks and see where we are at.

QPR would make it two games unbeaten if we beat or draw with them. We'd expect to win. We lost at West Brom on Saturday!
 
It used to be 4 signings was considered a busy Summer, but a high turnover seems the norm and is demanded by the fans now.

Not all change is improvement, but nothing upsets fans like their club doing nothing while others are making changes.
