Disappointing results tonight puts us 10 points from the playoffs with a game in hand with 14 to play. Think it will take 77 points to get a playoff spot that will be 11 wins out of 14. Time for Carrick to do the mirical

Looking at the fixtures this should do it

H Plymouth Win
A Stoke Win
H Norwich Win
A QPR Win
A Birmingham Win
H Blackburn Win
A Southampton Lose
H Sheffield Wed Win
H Swansea Win
A Hull Win
A Ipswich Lose
H Leeds Lose
A Cardiff Win
H Watford Win

Losing to Preston ended all realistic hope.

Getting 1 point from 6 against Rotherham was where my genuine belief ended.

I just hope we have a good end to the season, so we can enjoy something.

Having McGree available for selection again is massive for us, he's building up a great understanding with Azaz, and we're playing some good football as a result of it.

I'm also hopeful Lath is going to finish the season strongly, I've been saying this for a while now. Jones should also be back shortly.

My gut feeling is that we won't make the play-offs, Hull and WBA are looking strong, but until it's mathematically impossible, we might as well just try and win as many games as possible and hope we can win enough to scrape in.

It’s not realistically been on for weeks. The team has been way too inconsistent, albeit with genuine reasons due to a huge injury list.

Hull and West Brom will take the final two places.

What's made it difficult this season is more teams are doing better than last season. Last season 69 points (which I think we're capable of getting) would get you into the playoffs, it won't this year.
