No you're right, it's very clear. You've claimed that loads of non-political threads turn political and as your best evidence of that you've provided the screenshot above. I'd put the shovel down!

Not at all - it happens - I can prove it over and over again - in contradiction to your earlier assertions your mind is clearly closed to different views. I made and proved a valid point with a very clear example.I can’t keep going at it all day I have to work.

So an 8 page thread on this board aboout a 3 page thread on another board which itself is about this board. I'm glad I have work to do.

Re. Cooper, does this mean I can disable all his accounts now? He's well suited to COB. I wish him a long and happy life of posting there.

It's all a process


Stage 1 - The pitch: Here’s a political opinion I have based on reading the headlines of a right wing sensationalist newspaper. Its in big bold writing so I must be right.

Stage 2 - The hubris: All you ‘lefties’ have nothing to offer me. In the real world everyone thinks like me. Kneel before me and my emotional intelligence.

Stage 3 - The denial: The facts and statistics you have presented mean the exact opposite to what you think they do. Ha!

Stage 4 - The kill: Well of course, yeah if you present that one fact like that then it does look bad, but to counter, here’s another stat plucked from thin air and misconstrued.

Stage 5 - The plea: Look lads, can’t we all just get back to talking about the footer yeah?

Stage 6 - The dewy-eyed nostalgia: This board is not what it used to be. Lots of decent posters no longer post here. I can’t name names to protect the identities of the innocent.

Stage 7 - The flounce: I’m being bullied. Goodbye cruel board. This free to use marketplace of ideas and football chat is just not ready for my participation.

About three times a week at the moment...
 
So just an update on this thread:-

Over on ComeOnBoro Cooper has made the grand total of 20 posts, of which:-

15 have been on the thread he created about himself.
4 have been with reference to current FMTTM posters.
1 was about the Grand National.
His last post was 6 days ago.

It seems that ComeOnBoro isn't the land of milk and honey he was hoping for.

I sometimes wonder what someone’s life is missing that they take message boards like this and COB so seriously...

ive said before and often wonder if some people have notebooks next to their computer with scribbling that they refer back to in threads like this..
