If you've got a problem with political threads then either dont read them or start your own thread stating that you've got a problem with political threads.
This is not a political thread.
Politics was brought into it by somebody who doesn't like political threads and you've jumped in on it.

I'm not a fan of that. Making a wild statement and then not proving it if it's challenged. I don't think you're correct but at the very least you are definitely exaggerating the issue. Which is kind of proven by the fact neither of us can find any threads where it has happened.

It's not that people have a problem with political threads. From what I can see, from the posters complaining, is that the political threads don't go the way they want.

I’m not being ridiculous pal you asked me a question and I answered it, I honestly didn’t know the answer. I haven’t said I have a problem with political threads - I merely said I get frustrated when a non political thread gets hijacked into a political debate. Go and have some breakfast and calm yourself down as you are looking for an argument that’s simply not there.

I think the point is a simple one really. You have made a claim that is clearly inaccurate. You've been asked to provide evidence of which there is none or very little. On this thread, the people that complain the loudest about the board being political are the ones that have turned it political. The truth is that the only threads that 'turn political' are those that are related to politics. And those that complain about it do so not because they don't like politics (there are just as many political threads on COB for example, but rather because they don't like the way those political threads make them feel.

It's simple again. Youth crime, anti-social behaviour and vandalism and the solutions to those problems are inherently political by nature. That is not the same as a thread in which we discuss Bettinelli suddenly turning into a debate on whether he should take a trip to Barnard Castle to test his eyes.
