The anti-trans brigade is here and on the board. In fact one admin has a solid history of anti-trans posts and comments.
 
One question for you all then and its not the one you think......If someone (adult or child) feels like they want to change gender because they are trapped in the wrong body, how do they know?

ie. how does someone who is a male know what a female 'feels' like?

None of us know what anybody else feels like, we're individuals.

If I could somehow detect your feelings I may think you'd look better in a dress. Who knows?

Apart from this is happening. I have posted numerous links on previous threads showing examples of this. In addition, those ‘trans activists’ are employing aggressive mental (social media) and direct physical aggression against women , who are trying to protect the integrity of their sport and safe spaces. Cursory search will show how common this is.
I support the right of any person to dress and use whichever pronoun they may choose as a fundamental human right, but this does not entitle you to (for example) compete in a women’s sport, where the muscle mass and bone density gives a huge advantage.

I do get the impression that the activists don't represent the majority of transgender people, most of whom I believe would prefer to live quietly and with dignity.
However the activists obviously do get the most 'airtime' and affect people's perception as a whole.
 
Saw Billy Bragg a couple of weeks back and he brought up this very point. Mentioned that as his audience has aged, there is some scepticism and/or opposition to this.

Also correctly mentioned that we've had all this before with the gay community being chastised in the 70s and 80s, we got through that and we will get through this.

Age old politics of division from a spent political force (the right), that's all it is.
 
Should people who are born male but identify as female be incarcerated in a female prison? If they still have their male genitalia would that alter your opinion?
Do you agree with the trans identifying performers performing stripper style dancing acts in front of and engaging with minors?
Do you agree with the images/videos broadcast of people simulating sex scenes whilst wearing BDSM gear in a pride parade with minors in attendance?
Should someone with male genitalia use a female communal changing space?
Should someone under the age of 16 be allowed to permanently disfigure their body? If so what age is the cut off (pardon the pun)?
Should people who have transitioned/transitioning be allowed to compete in their selected genders professional sport and take funding/sponsors/prize money from those born into that gender naturally?

If I don't agree with those things, does it make me transphobic?

Not baiting, not fishing, not looking for conflict just a genuine question? I may need to be educated on what does and does not class as transphobia...
