We have got to be up there with some of the worst spellers in the country. Juninho was with us for three stints and yet so many of our fans could still not spell his name properly nor pronounce it properly after all that time. Even today it continues. It seriously did my t*t$ in.

Spelling Watmore as Whatmore just takes the biscuit. God we are thick as pig $hit.

Alen Bostik was the worst common pronunciation/spelling for a player that I can recall. "Leadbetter" used to do my head in also

Akpom at least has some real character....works incredibly hard for the team and does ok. In my view better than fletcher but Britt somehow rarely seems bothered even though Mr W has pushed out the boat for Britt in many ways
I’m sure Mr W is scratching his head for solutions to get one of these lads firing.

Well using BA as a baseline for comparison is a bit tenuous. As for running around , I think you need a bit more than that to be considered an asset to the team.
Roberts should be getting the place in the team. He s good at running around with a ball at his feet.

Came here to say Alan Bostik.

So many proper die hard Boro fans still pronounce the little fella’s name as Junino, blows my mind.

Weird how everyone got the hang of Viduka and Ugo Ehiogu so easily.

Other contenders for the misspelt all-time Boro XI are of course McLaren as manager with Ankor Karankor as his number 2, George Boatang mopping up in the middle just behind Mendietta, and I still can’t spell Mark Schwarzer
