Who's coming down from the Prem?

It's fairly certain that Sheffield United and Burnley will be paying the Championship a revisit next season, but there is anxiety that any of the four teams above the drop zone+ Luton could be relegated. Luton still have a chance of a crucial win to lift them above Forest and Everton. For me, it's more likely to be Trees whose run-in looks frightening:

21st April v Everton [away]
28th April v Man City [Home]
4th May v Sheffield United [Away]
11th May v Chelsea [Home]
19th May v Burnley [Away]

Forest will fancy their chances in the 3 away games

Good chance that it will be the 3 promoted from last season and that they will all retain most of their players and manager which should in theory give them a big advantage

Sounds like Palace are doing themselves no harm by beating Liverpool at Anfield!

They'll all benefit from the parachute payments, giving them a head start, along with any of last year's relegated teams, if they don't go back up.

Think it’ll be the 3 that went up. There won’t be a massive clamour for their players, they’ll retain most. But from an ffp perspective they might struggle to have any investment money.

Burnley will have had a massive confidence dent
Sheff Utd are terrible, I think they could struggle for firepower and they’ve got quite a few older players that’ll struggle with two games a week
Luton rely on co to pity, professionalism, hard work. If that drops off even 3% they’ll struggle.

Next year could be a fantastic opportunity for us

After that horror show from Everton tonight, it will boost Forest's confidence no end and their belief they can beat them on Sunday at goodison.
Everton have just thrown away their goal difference advantage, so really in the ***t! (n)

And Everton's game in hand is against Liverpool - where the Derby element doesn't seem to happen - so that should dent their goal difference a bit more
Their best chance is to beat Forest

Oh and Luton have Everton at home
They've met twice this season
First time Everton 1 Luton 2
Second time Everton 1 Luton 2

I don't like particularly like Luton, but Everton Forest on Sunday could be Everton's only chance of making up the 3 points Luton must be expecting to take off them

I had Everton to take a dogged Dyche point in my predictions league last night - thanks, Dalek. They look iffy. Luton, on the other hand, have that team spirit that might see them make it. Forest have a couple of players who can make the difference and I expect them to stay up.

If Everton go down, you'd expect them to do a Newcastle and storm back up. From our perspective, Luton are probably the team we would be able to best compete with.
