Not because of his Burnley wobble but because of him and his sidekicks inability to be tactically flexible and decisive when needing to make changes formation wise be it first half or 2nd half.
Away at ; Bristol, hull, Barnsley, Blackburn. And Preston of course.
Various home games but those away games were critical and 4 losses and 1 draw tells a tale especially against rubbish with inferior players but clever tactically versus wilder & Alan.

The facts tell us that we picked up enough points under CW to finish in the top six, if you extrapolate over a full season.

This was with a squad that was pretty thin in places and had some obvious weaknesses, especially down the left and the strikers.

So based on this I'm pretty optimistic for next season, more so given we seem to have a bit of cash to bring some quality in with.

All things considered is expect most boro supporters to be pretty upbeat, more than most recent seasons.

He will have this season with pretty much his squad - or at least got rid of the players he didn't fancy. Let's see in October after 10-12 games and the transfer window has shut how HIS team is shaping up.
I'm happy with his appointment. For the first time in a few years we have a professional look to the club. And I include the appointment of Scott in that.

Not sure how he is the best manager we have had for years. Maybe one year. He's done nothing yet but lets see what this season brings before we bury him.

I do know that gibbo was seen at Rockcliffe by the academy coaching staff for only the second time in 12 years and wilder was sat outside on his mobile, presumably to his agent, from midday to about 6 them he left, I assume to the Talport where he was seen with bauser and gibbo and his agent.

This . 1 footballing dinosaur, 1 inexperienced who was no where near ready and 1 who did an ok job for a short while but then it got really poor and boring.

To be fair the majority of those games mentioned we lost due to missing so many chances.

I wouldn't say thats Wilders fault. The forwards couldn't hit a barn door.

Well i trust wilder 100%. He often says he sees what the fans see. He knows whats needed. As for inflexible tactics. If they not working he goes for it. Im sure most fans would throw forwards on if we need a goal. Its not rocket science. Wilder is right we dont score enough from chances we create. I believe he is trying to solve this problem.

Nothng wrong with having a tactical philosophy at a club and introducing that at every level at that club including youth level

I mean Karanka was a one trick pony and we enjoyed our most successful period in recent years. I don’t mind a one trim pony if that one trick consistently wins you games!
