I mean people were ****** themselves silly when younger attack minded coaches came to the club like monk and wilder and it went flat as a fart with them . Jack Charlton was defensive minded. Defensive mclaren won us a cup , defensive karanka got us promoted, defensive pulis got us the playoffs

It’s the same **** with pulis too. I don’t get the need to hurl **** at him either . He also spoke well of the area and fans , no F***ing clue why with the venom directed at him. It got to people blaming pulis being blamed for braithwaite despite braithwaite pretty much wanting to leave right from the beginning under monk . Braithwaite shat on the fans and area , yet people sympathised and liked him more than pulis

Defensive tactics don't make you a dinosaur.
Lumping it to the big man and relying on winning second balls, or knocking it long and wide for the fast lads to chase. They make you dinosaurish.

And Warnock has had a good track record with it too

I personally find the slow pace passing game of the likes of the Spanish boring and dull as hell , but some will think it’s terrific football

I never watch la liga for that reason
 
Just a little info to add to the Wilder is ***** camp.

Balogun has scored 10 goals in 16 games this season. Connolly has 0 goals and 0 assists and is due to have him loan cut short.

Couldn’t spot a striker to save his life.

Connolly has the tools to be a similar sort of striker to Watmore. Which is useful for the way Wilder wanted to play. But his off the field issues are getting in the way of the potential he has. He's also clearly low in confidence - and I think being pushed and pushed to be a first choice striker when he was struggling didn't help.

Balagun should have got a run in the side. But I think we'd have been better off if neither player had come in during the January transfer window.
 
His record prior to Boro was pretty incredible, through the lower leagues.
I was absolutely convinced he would be a major success for us.
I didn’t believe the Burnley rumours because I thought there was no way on earth the club would keep him in post if they were true.
Turns out I was wrong on every single count.
He turned out to be an absolute tosser who made a mug out of the likes of me and the fans who stood by him. Glad he’s gone, arrogant, rigid one system busted flush!
That said, I still loved some of the football we were playing during his early days. But yeah….good riddance!
